Notes

Are hiragana characters converted?
Hiragana has no full-width/half-width distinction in Unicode, so they are not converted. Use the Hiragana⇔Katakana tool for that.

Kanji also has no full-width/half-width distinction, so they are not converted. Only alphanumerics, symbols, and katakana are converted.
