What's a normal reaction time?

The average visual reaction time is 200-250ms. Under 150ms is very fast, and over 350ms is slower than average. It varies with age, health, and focus.

Can reaction speed be improved?

Yes! Regular training with sports, games, and meditation can help. However, there's a physiological limit of about 100ms due to nerve conduction speed.

How does the measurement work?

We use the browser's performance.now() to measure the time from when the light turns green to your click, in milliseconds. Everything is processed locally — no data is sent to any server.
